Matt Manda serves as Chief Operating Officer at MKSK, bringing more than 25 years of experience in leading landscape architecture and urban design projects. Matt is focused on immersive storytelling through design, crafting human-centered experiences and vibrant public spaces that strengthen communities and inspire meaningful connections. His work spans a diverse range of project types, including parks and urban spaces, streetscapes, hospitality environments, and urban design initiatives. 

Matt’s upbringing in Ohio and experiences living across diverse regions of the United States have fostered a deep appreciation for the history, culture, and character that define communities. He believes meaningful practice begins with understanding the unique context of a place—its stories, people, and traditions—and is committed to strengthening the identity and long-term vitality of the communities he serves.

Known for his collaborative approach, Matt brings together diverse perspectives and builds alignment around a shared vision. By uncovering the narratives that shape a place and engaging stakeholders throughout the design process, he helps create healthy, connected environments that support well-being, inspire engagement, and foster a lasting sense of belonging.

As COO, Matt helps shape the future of MKSK by fostering alignment across the firm's national practice and advancing a shared One MKSK culture. He is dedicated to developing people and teams, creating pathways for professional growth, and strengthening organizational performance through thoughtful leadership and operational excellence.
