Columbus Riverfront Wins ULI Community Impact Award

MKSK

Urban Land Institute Columbus, a nonprofit advocate for the responsible use of land, has awarded the Downtown Columbus Riverfront the Community Impact Award! The Downtown Columbus Riverfront project improved water access and recreation along the riverfront, creating a stunning 33-acres of public greenway through Downtown and revitalizing the riverfront. MKSK led the Master Plan and was Landscape Architect for the implementation of the Scioto Greenways as part of a multi-discipline team led by Stantec. Congratulations to the Columbus Downtown Development Corporation (Developer), the City of Columbus, Department of Recreation and Parks (Owner), Messer Construction (Contractor), and Stantec (Civil Engineer) for their involvement in leading the project. This was the inaugural Awards of Excellence for ULI Columbus.
