Joe is passionate about improving the livability and ecological sustainability of cities through landscape architecture.

With over 30 years of experience, Joe has worked on both urban and rural sites, designing a diverse range of projects, including campus and urban open space master plans, waterfronts, infrastructure landscapes, parks, green roofs and urban spaces As the leader of MKSK’s sustainability and research initiatives, he explores how urban landscapes can mimic native plant communities, helping cities become greener and more resilient in the face of environmental change.
